Festival History
The Little Falls Dam Festival started in 2005 and is an annual event that takes place at Maple Island Park in Little Falls, Minnesota. . The festival was founded by Richard John Lano of Crawfordsville, Indiana who had relatives in Little Falls. At the start of the festival, it took place at LeBourget Park and the surrounding areas near the Dam in Little Falls in late June of each year. Since the start, the Little Falls Dam Festival continues to grow and evolve but continues to be a free community event and relies on the community's support for donations.
